This is very painful for arthritic hands that have been thru carpal tunnel surgeries unsuccessfully. Even so, I can't stop doing this now that I've started slightly getting the hang of this new hobby. It's a good coping mechanism for those with mental health challenges like anxiety or even challenges like adhd. Keeps your hands busy and before you know you'll have something to show for those fidgety hands. I wish I had tried this years ago.

I still just don’t get where I’m putting my hook in for the second row!! Like she says at the bottom of the V but which Vs am I putting it in and which hole am I putting it in cuz there are like 3??

Outstanding demonstration. Pace was perfect for me considering since I haven't picked up a crochet hook in 45 years. The sides are looking a bit wonky, so I need to be super careful there. Why do you chain three at the beginning of the first row after you complete your chain row? I thought with a DC you counted the amount of chains you want to them only add two chains since it’s a DC.

I'm not sure what I did wrong... I just know I did something wrong💀💀

Just want to say this tutorial is really helpful. I’ve been watching tutorials and getting the shits with it all but you are really good at explaining things and I was struggling a lot because I wasn’t rotating the hook but your instructions really helped. Thanks so much

Here’s a small tip cause I was stressed, tie the slip a little loose and if it starts doing the slip off think put the slip over ur hook then pull through that’s what i did 😂😅

I’m not gonna say this was easy bc it definitely wasn’t! BUT I found it incredibly relaxing once I got to my fourth row and I actually SPED up (not like extreme speed racer 😂) but I definitely sped up more than how I was in the beginning. I think what made it “easier” for me was the fact that I grew up as a rainbow loom child!! It definitely brought back those memories 🥺 The thing I found the hardest was the extra string, when you first start off after doing the loop, is the hardest because you need resistance and something to hold that. But I made it to my fourth row and my FIRST EVER crochet, that will now be a keychain!!! Thank you so much for teaching me, I will continue to do this everyday for a week and then move on to slightly bigger projects, hopefully a granny square! My biggest goal and want out of crocheting is to be able to make my baby’s first baby blanket when he/she arrives and to do that throughout my pregnancy to grow a much stronger bond! PS: You guys who are struggling YOU GOT THIS!! Don’t give up, just breathe through it! If my hormonal pregnant self can get through it without rage quitting 😂 I’m sure you can too!! Edited to say that it DEFINITELY did NOT turn out pretty like hers, but hey, it’s something 🤷🏼‍♀️

Guys I can’t. I can’t even do the first crochet. The small piece of yarn on the first slip knot keeps coming to the big piece of yarn where I’m supposed to crochet! I can’t do it! How is this easy for people this is painfully confusing
